A Little More About Me |
Mahogany is a yoga student, an instructor of both prenatal and general population yoga, a birth worker, a big sister, an auntie, a partner, a friend, a keeper of secrets, and an accountant. In the birth space, she believes the postpartum period is often overlooked and finds meaning in supporting families during this time. The early months with a new baby are a period of adjustment and learning, and she is honored to be part of that transition. In a class setting, she’s known for bringing equal parts challenge and care to her classes—guiding students to explore their edges while always holding space for rest and renewal. Her playlists frequently mix R&B with pop / rock, curating a vibe that keeps practice fresh, fun, and deeply grounding. For Mahogany, yoga isn’t about movement; it’s about reconnecting with yourself, finding balance, and carrying that sense of strength and presence off the mat. Her goal is to make everyone feel welcome—whether you’re new to yoga, refining your practice, or navigating pregnancy and parenthood—and to help you feel stronger, lighter, and more at home in your body. In her spare time, she is always barefoot and either reading, tending to her plants, or trying a new recipe. Thank you for sharing your practice with me! Mahogany. |
