A Little More About Me
I have been practicing yoga since my first year of college in 2010, and as of Summer 2020,
I am a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher.
I teach vinyasa, rocket, and both prenatal + postnatal yoga classes.
What a decade, huh?
Back then, yoga was nothing more than a way to pass a class (I mean, hello?! it ends with a ten minute nap.. I'll take three please!)
From there, it was mostly "look at this cool pose I can do!" which developed into me practicing pranayama (breath control) unknowingly.
Sidebar-- All Yogis (including myself) are always talking about breathing and to be completely honest, you really don't get it until you're upside down and still able to have a full conversation. But, that's a story for another time.
Today, I am technically a teacher, but still very much a student. Once you get over the aesthetics of yoga and realize it's so much more than wearing spandex and doing splits, you're in it for life!
Yoga started with an easy A and expanded into a never-ending path of self discovery and growth.
